MAUPERTUIS Institute is a French R&D Center located near Rennes (35), we do research and development on welding technologies like :

- Laser Applications (welding, cutting, cladding, metallic additive manufacturing - WLAM),

- 3D Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing - WAAM,

- Friction Stir Welding – FSW,

- and Industrial Robotic Solutions.

Equipped with testing facilities, we advise and support our industrial customers to evaluate, test and integrate these innovative technologies to increase their competitiveness. We work with reputated companies in automotive, aeronautic, aerospace, railway or energy industry but with local industrial companies too.

We have high skilled PhDs and engineers to develop innovative robotic welding systems (CIR certified) with a large R&D welding platform (7 robotic cells with high power disk laser (8, 12 and 16 kW) and workshop FSW).
