We asked a few questions to Phil CARR, Founder and Director of the company.

Can you introduce yourself in a few words?
I am the founder of Carrs Welding Technologies, and we have been welding since the 1992. We repair metal items, components or tooling at the fraction of the cost of renewal.
Can you introduce your company and its specialty?
Carrs Welding are Laser welding experts and although we are small, we have a very high level of expertise and skills.
How did you find out about the CLP and why did you choose to join?
We were members of CLP in 2017, in the past and have come back to join in 2023.
Which of your company's latest innovations are you most proud of?
Carrs currently are very proud of a research project called Soni-Laser, which is an Innovate UK sponsored project to research the use of Ultra-sound and laser welding to perfect welding of battery terminals in Electric vehicles : https://carrswelding.co.uk/2022/02/sonilaser-new-innovate-project-for-carrs-and-brunel-university-london/
